Job Description
Overview:
As a Beauty Therapist you play a crucial role in providing clients with professional beauty treatments and personalized service. Your expertise in skincare massage and body treatments will contribute to enhancing clients wellbeing and confidence. You will have the opportunity to create a relaxing and rejuvenating experience for clients ensuring they leave feeling pampered and satisfied.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting professional skincare consultations and analysis
- Performing a variety of body and facial treatments including massages facials waxing and other beauty services
- Ensuring exceptional customer service and addressing clients needs and concerns
- Providing expert advice on skincare products and maintaining product knowledge
- Maintaining a clean and organized treatment room and work area
- Adhering to health and safety regulations and maintaining high standards of hygiene
- Upselling beauty products and services to clients
- Participating in training and continuous professional development
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Managing appointment bookings and schedules efficiently
- Keeping accurate client records and treatment notes
- Contributing to the overall success of the spa or beauty establishment
- Collaborating with colleagues to create a harmonious and productive work environment
- Staying updated on the latest beauty trends and techniques
Required Qualifications:
- Completion of a recognized beauty therapy or esthetician program
- Valid state license or certification as a Beauty Therapist
- Demonstrated experience in providing a range of beauty treatments and services
- Strong knowledge of skincare products ingredients and their benefits
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to customize treatments based on individual client needs and preferences
- Proficiency in performing various massage techniques
- Thorough understanding of waxing procedures and techniques
- Ability to recommend and sell skincare products effectively
- Knowledge of hygiene and sanitation standards for beauty establishments
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service
- Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Flexibility to work on weekends and evenings as required
- Commitment to maintaining a professional and polished appearance
