We are expanding our multidisciplinary team supporting NDIS participants living in the Wollongong region and would welcome an early career or experienced Occupational Therapist looking to make a meaningful and rewarding impact in their local community.

On a daily basis you will be:
- Managing an allocated caseload and completing therapeutic services in a timely manner
- Assessing participants emotional psychological cognitive developmental and physical level of function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments
- Interpreting findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant
- Providing therapeutic interventions that are evidencebased and help participants get more out of life
- Providing support and advice on adaptations to the environment including home school work and residential facilities
- Recommending provision of Assistive Technology to assist participants with their functional limitations and to promote independence
- Maintaining awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance
Qualifications :
To be considered suitable you will have:
- Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
- Excellent written verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload
- Proactive attitude motivated by improvement and the opportunity to test and learn from new ideas
- Looking for a fun collaborative and supportive work environment
- Demonstrated ability to work independently
- A genuine passion for working in the disability sector
