Job Description
Overview:
The Nail Artist plays a crucial role in the beauty and wellness industry specializing in nail care and beautification. They are responsible for providing clients with highquality nail services creating artistic and trendy designs to enhance the overall appearance of the clients nails. Nail Artists contribute to the overall aesthetic experience of the beauty salon or spa building longlasting client relationships through exceptional service and creativity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing manicures and pedicures
- Applying and removing nail polish and artificial nails
- Creating and designing nail art
- Providing hand and foot massages
- Advising clients on nail care and maintenance
- Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Upselling nail products and services
- Keeping up to date with nail trends and techniques
- Building and maintaining client relationships
- Handling appointment bookings and payments
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Attending training and workshops to enhance skills
- Resolving client inquiries and concerns
- Contributing to the overall ambiance of the salon or spa
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a nail technician program or equivalent certification
- Proven experience as a Nail Artist or Nail Technician
- Proficiency in manicures pedicures and nail art
- Strong knowledge of nail care and sanitation practices
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Creativity and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
- Knowledge of nail products and trends
- Understanding of health and safety regulations
- Strong sales and upselling skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
- Flexibility to work weekends and evenings
- Passion for beauty and wellness industry
