Job Description
Job Title: Junior Accountant
Location: Navjivan Circle Surat
Salary:per month
Job Type: Fulltime
About the Company:
Our client is a leading player in the LED light trading business known for its commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. We are looking for a dedicated and detailoriented Junior Accountant to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Purchase Entries: Record and maintain accurate purchase transactions.
- Sales Entries: Accurately input sales data and ensure proper documentation.
- Bank Entries: Manage daily bank transactions including deposits withdrawals and payments.
- Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- TDS Reports: Prepare and submit TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) reports in compliance with tax regulations.
- Vendor & Customer Management: Assist in managing vendor and customer accounts ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Support in Monthend & Yearend Closing: Assist in preparing financial statements and other required documentation.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.
- Experience: 12 years of experience in accounting preferably in a trading or retail environment.
- Software Knowledge: Proficient in accounting software like Tally or similar platforms.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and processes.
- Good knowledge of TDS and basic tax rules.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Hours:
- Monday to Saturday
- 10 AM to 7 PM
