Job Description
Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting diagnostic tests to identify cardiac conditions
- Performing interventional procedures such as angioplasty and stent placement
- Assessing patients medical histories and developing treatment plans
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Overseeing postprocedure care and monitoring patient progress
- Participating in research and academic activities to advance cardiology
- Providing mentorship and guidance to junior staff and fellows
- Utilizing cuttingedge technology for precise diagnoses and interventions
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
- Keeping abreast of industry developments and best practices in cardiology
Required Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (DM) or Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in Cardiology
- Valid medical license to practice as an interventional cardiologist in Bihar
- Proven experience in interventional cardiology including a high volume of procedures
- Exceptional diagnostic skills and the ability to interpret complex cardiac imaging
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with patients families and colleagues
- Proficiency in utilizing advanced interventional cardiology equipment and techniques
- Board certification in cardiology from a recognized institution
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and continued medical education
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced highpressure environment
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and a collaborative approach to patient care
- Adherence to ethical standards and regulatory requirements in cardiology practice
- Experience in academic and research settings is preferred
