Overview
As a Radiologist MD DNB DMRD Consultant you will play a critical role in providing expert diagnostic imaging services and medical consultation to ensure the accurate diagnosis and treatment of patients. This position holds significant importance in the organization as it directly impacts patient care and treatment outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging procedures such as Xrays CT scans MRIs and ultrasounds.
- Consult with medical staff to provide expertise in interpreting imaging results and correlating them with other medical findings.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of imaging interpretations and collaborate with healthcare teams to develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Stay updated with advancements in radiology and diagnostic imaging to optimize patient care and treatment outcomes.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss and evaluate patient cases for comprehensive treatment planning.
- Provide expert guidance and consultation to other medical professionals regarding imaging techniques and procedures.
- Supervise and train other radiology staff including technologists and residents to ensure quality and accuracy in imaging procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure adherence to radiation safety and quality standards in imaging.
- Participate in research activities and contribute to academic initiatives in the field of radiology and diagnostic imaging.
Required qualifications
- MD or DNB in Radiodiagnosis from a recognized institution.
- DMRD or equivalent specialization in radiology.
- Valid medical license and board certification in radiology.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Radiologist with expertise in diagnostic imaging and interpretation.
- Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing advanced imaging techniques and technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams and patients.
- Strong decisionmaking abilities and critical thinking skills for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Commitment to upholding ethical and professional standards in medical practice.
- Ability to work efficiently in a dynamic healthcare environment and manage timesensitive tasks effectively.
- Track record of continuous learning and professional development in the field of radiology and medical imaging.
