Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Azure technologies particularly Azure Data Factory and Power BI. You will play a crucial role in designing and implementing data pipelines ensuring data quality and providing actionable insights to support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain robust data pipelines using Azure Data Factory to extract transform and load (ETL) data from various sources.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand data requirements and deliver effective data solutions.
- Create and manage Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize data insights for stakeholders.
- Optimize data models and queries for performance and scalability.
- Ensure data governance and quality standards are met throughout the data lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot and resolve datarelated issues providing analytical insights and solutions.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to nontechnical stakeholders.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to enhance data engineering practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field.
- 56 years of experience in data engineering with a strong focus on Azure technologies.
- Proficiency in Azure Data Factory Azure SQL Database and Power BI.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Strong communication skills capable of conveying technical information to diverse audiences.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python SQL or similar is a plus.
- Familiarity with data modelling data governance and data quality processes.
