Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and resultsdriven Business Development Manager to join our EdTech sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development sales and a passion for the education technology sector. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities developing strategic partnerships and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and develop new business opportunities within the EdTech space by targeting schools universities educational institutions and corporates.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including decisionmakers in educational institutions and corporate learning departments.
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve growth targets and increase market share.
Lead negotiations and close deals with potential clients and partners.
Stay uptodate on industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for innovation and expansion.
Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing Product and Customer Success) to align on sales goals product positioning and customer feedback.
Attend industry events webinars and conferences to network and promote the company s solutions.
Prepare sales reports and forecasts for upper management.
Requirements:
Bachelor s degree in Business Marketing or a related field (MBA preferred).
Proven experience in business development or sales within the EdTech education or technology industry.
Strong understanding of the education sector and familiarity with digital learning solutions.
Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Proficiency in CRM software and sales reporting tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in EdTech sales with a network of existing contacts in the education sector.
Knowledge of online learning platforms and education technology trends.
Ability to handle long sales cycles and manage relationships with multiple stakeholders.
