Job Description
Job Title: Engineering Manager / Technical Architect
Location: Bangalore Chennai Hyderabad Noida Gurgaon Mumbai Pune
Role Overview:
We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Engineering Managers and Technical Architects to lead and architect innovative technology solutions. The ideal candidates will have a proven track record in building highperformance engineering teams defining technical architectures and delivering complex software solutions. You will be instrumental in driving the technical vision and roadmap mentoring teams and collaborating across various departments to deliver highquality products.
Key Responsibilities:
Engineering Manager:
- Lead and manage crossfunctional engineering teams to deliver highquality software solutions.
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define and execute the product roadmap.
- Ensure efficient project execution by implementing Agile methodologies and driving best practices in software development.
- Manage hiring mentoring and performance management of engineers to build a highly skilled motivated team.
- Drive continuous improvement in software engineering processes tools and practices to ensure high code quality and performance.
- Lead design reviews code reviews and ensure that engineering teams follow sound development practices.
- Monitor and maintain team health and project timelines while ensuring clear communication with all relevant stakeholders.
- Own team deliverables taking full responsibility for timely and highquality execution.
Technical Architect:
- Define and design scalable highperformance system architectures that align with business goals.
- Evaluate new technologies and frameworks and make recommendations to improve product performance scalability and security.
- Lead the endtoend technical design of complex software projects and ensure alignment with best practices.
- Collaborate with engineering managers product managers and other stakeholders to create a clear and detailed architecture roadmap.
- Drive technical innovation within the team by staying updated with the latest technologies and ensuring the team is exposed to them.
- Provide technical leadership mentoring engineers and guiding the team on architecture decisions and best practices.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with the technical stack architecture and scalability.
- Oversee system performance and identify bottlenecks to recommend architectural improvements.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Experience: 8 years of relevant experience in software development with at least 3 years in a managerial or technical leadership role.
- Education: Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong experience with modern programming languages (e.g. Java Python Go Node.js).
- Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or GCP.
- Handson experience in designing and building scalable microservices architecture.
- Solid understanding of data structures algorithms and software design principles.
- Experience in DevOps practices CI/CD pipelines and containerization technologies (Docker Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL) and experience with highavailability systems.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong leadership communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to mentor guide and inspire technical teams.
- Problemsolving mindset with a focus on delivering robust and efficient solutions.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment with a focus on driving results.
