Job Description
Overview
The SAP PP/QM position is a critical role responsible for configuring implementing and supporting the SAP Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) modules within the organization. This role plays a vital part in ensuring seamless business process integration optimizing manufacturing processes and maintaining highquality standards for products.
Key responsibilities
- Configure and customize SAP PP/QM modules to meet business requirements.
- Participate in endtoend implementation of SAP PP/QM modules including design testing and deployment.
- Provide technical expertise and support in the resolution of SAP PP/QM module issues and enhancements.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure integration of SAP PP/QM with other business processes such as supply chain and inventory management.
- Develop and maintain documentation for SAP PP/QM module configurations processes and procedures.
- Conduct training sessions for end users to maximize the utilization and efficiency of SAP PP/QM functionality.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and optimization of manufacturing processes through SAP PP/QM.
- Support the planning and execution of production schedules and manufacturing operations using SAP PP.
- Lead the implementation and maintenance of quality management processes and best practices within the SAP QM module.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to production and quality management.
- Participate in system upgrades enhancements and new feature implementations for SAP PP/QM modules.
- Conduct thorough testing of SAP PP/QM functionalities to ensure reliability and accuracy.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and provide strategic guidance on SAP PP/QM capabilities and solutions.
- Assist in the resolution of production and qualityrelated issues through SAP PP/QM module support.
Required qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Business Administration Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in configuring and implementing SAP PP and QM modules in manufacturing environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in integrating SAP PP/QM with other SAP modules and business processes.
- Indepth knowledge of manufacturing processes production planning and quality management principles.
- Certification in SAP Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) modules is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex SAP PP/QM issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with crossfunctional teams and end users.
- Experience in conducting end user training and creating documentation for SAP PP/QM processes and procedures.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and other relevant ERP systems is a plus.
- Understanding of regulatory compliance and quality standards applicable to manufacturing industries.
- Proactive approach to identifying opportunities for process improvement and optimization through SAP PP/QM.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead SAP PP/QM module implementations and enhancements.
- Problemsolving skills and the ability to analyze complex business requirements and propose effective SAP PP/QM solutions.
- Experience in system upgrades support and maintenance of SAP PP/QM modules.
