Position Overview:
Indigo Group is looking for an MBA Finance Intern to assist in key financial operations. This role provides an exciting opportunity for handson experience in corporate finance including financial analysis budgeting and data management. The ideal candidate should be detailoriented proficient in financial tools and capable of handling multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Support the preparation of financial statements including P&L accounts balance sheets and cash flow statements.
- Analyze financial reports to generate actionable insights.
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in preparing annual and quarterly budgets working closely with the finance team.
- Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting future financial performance.
- Investment and Financial Modeling:
- Create models to evaluate investment opportunities and calculate ROI.
- Conduct sensitivity analysis for different business scenarios.
- Data Analytics:
- Collect process and analyze financial data to support decisionmaking.
- Ensure financial data accuracy and reporting integrity.
- Regulatory Compliance and Audits:
- Assist in regulatory reporting and compliance with Indian laws (SEBI RBI).
- Help with internal and external audits ensuring accurate documentation.
- Market Research:
- Conduct research on market trends peer companies and economic conditions affecting the business.
- Cost Control and Efficiency:
- Assist in cost control analysis identifying areas where financial efficiencies can be achieved.
- Work with teams to implement costsaving initiatives.
- Collaborative Projects:
- Support crossdepartmental financial initiatives working with procurement marketing and sales.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing an MBA in Finance from a recognized university/ institute.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and Excel; knowledge of Tally ERP and SAP is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior internship experience in finance/accounting is preferred.
- Familiarity with Indian financial regulations (SEBI RBI) and taxation is a plus.
Good to Have:
- Active on social media.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies such as AI tools like ChatGPT and design platforms like Canva.
