Job Description
Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive patient consultations and examinations to assess cardiac health
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests such as ECGs echocardiograms and stress tests
- Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans including medication and lifestyle recommendations
- Performing interventional procedures such as angioplasty and stenting as and when necessary
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care
- Participating in the development of cardiology care protocols and guidelines
- Providing education and support to patients and their families regarding cardiac conditions and management
- Contributing to quality improvement initiatives and participating in clinical research
- Maintaining accurate and uptodate medical records and documentation
Required Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (DM) or Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in Cardiology
- Valid medical license to practice as a Cardiologist in Chhattisgarh
- Proven experience as a Cardiology Consultant preferably in a hospital setting
- Expertise in diagnosing and managing a wide range of cardiac conditions
- Proficiency in performing interventional procedures such as cardiac catheterization and angiography
- Strong knowledge of current cardiology guidelines protocols and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced and dynamic clinical environment
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with advancements in cardiology
- Sound decisionmaking abilities and a patientcentered approach to care
