Job Description
Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct consultations with patients to diagnose orthopedic conditions.
- Perform orthopedic surgical procedures with precision and accuracy.
- Develop treatment plans and provide postoperative care to patients.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Stay updated on advancements in orthopedic surgery and recommend innovative treatments.
- Participate in clinical research and contribute to academic and professional development.
- Train and supervise medical staff residents and fellows in orthopedic procedures.
- Adhere to ethical and professional standards in patient care and medical practice.
- Participate in departmental meetings conferences and continuing medical education activities.
Required Qualifications:
- Medical Degree (MD/MS) in Orthopedics from an accredited institution.
- DNB Certification in Orthopedic Surgery.
- Valid state medical license to practice as an Orthopedic Surgeon.
- Proven experience in performing complex orthopedic surgical procedures.
- Excellent diagnostic and decisionmaking skills in managing orthopedic conditions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for patient interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in orthopedic surgery.
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced highpressure medical environment.
- Indepth knowledge of orthopedic surgical techniques treatment modalities and postoperative care.
- Experience in supervising and mentoring medical staff residents or fellows.
