Job Description
Overview
The IT Engineer/Sr. Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems within a manufacturing industry MNC in Pune. They are responsible for maintaining the organizations IT infrastructure providing technical support to end users and implementing IT projects to enhance efficiency and security.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and maintain hardware software and network components.
- Provide technical support for end users and resolve IT issues promptly.
- Implement and maintain security measures to protect the organizations IT systems.
- Oversee and contribute to IT projects from planning to execution and documentation.
- Monitor IT systems to ensure optimal performance and identify potential issues.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to support business operations and initiatives.
- Manage and optimize IT infrastructure to meet business needs and compliance requirements.
- Develop and maintain IT policies procedures and documentation.
- Conduct regular system audits and implement improvements as necessary.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
- Proven experience in IT support networking and system administration.
- Certifications such as CCNA CompTIA Security or Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) are advantageous.
- Demonstrated knowledge of IT security principles and practices.
- Experience in project management and IT infrastructure development.
- Strong problemsolving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced collaborative environment.
- Understanding of manufacturing industry processes and requirements is a plus.
