Job Description

Overview:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for 70% recruitment and remaining 30% HR generalist activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process including sourcing screening and interviewing candidates
  • Oversee and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires ensuring a smooth transition into the organization
  • Handle employee relations grievances and disciplinary procedures
  • Administer and maintain HRIS and employee records
  • Stay uptodate with labor legislation and ensure compliance
  • Conduct performance management and improvement systems
  • Assess training needs and coordinate learning and development initiatives
  • Support current and future business needs through the development engagement motivation and preservation of human capital
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands grievances or other issues
  • Nurture a positive working environment
  • Maintain pay plan and benefits program
  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
  • Support the organizations culture and reinforce company values

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field
  • Proven work experience as an HR Executive or similar role in the IT industry
  • Demonstrable experience with HR metrics and hiring processes
  • Proficient in HRIS with the ability to maintain and make necessary updates to HR databases
  • Thorough knowledge of labor legislation and HR best practices
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong ethical standards with the ability to handle confidential information with integrity
  • Effective conflict resolution and problemsolving skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Professional certification (e.g. SHRMCP or PHR) is a plus
  • Experience in developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives
  • Ability to foster a positive and inclusive work environment
  • Sound understanding of employee engagement strategies
  • Capability to build and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software
