Overview:
The Video Editing Intern plays a crucial role in supporting the video production team by editing and enhancing video footage to create highquality content. This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain handson experience in video editing and postproduction processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit raw footage to produce highquality videos
- Add visual effects graphics and animation as needed
- Collaborate with the video production team to understand project requirements
- Ensure that edited videos align with the brands style and guidelines
- Manage and organize video files and assets
- Contribute creative ideas to enhance video content
- Assist in video preproduction and postproduction tasks
- Stay updated on industry trends and video editing techniques
- Participate in brainstorming sessions for video concepts
- Communicate effectively with the team to meet project deadlines
- Optimize videos for various platforms and devices
- Ensure smooth transitions and continuity in the edited videos
- Review and implement feedback from the video production team
- Assist in other videorelated tasks as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency in video editing software particularly Adobe Premiere and/or Final Cut Pro
- Strong attention to detail and a creative mindset
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Basic knowledge of video formats codecs and file delivery
- Ability to work in a fastpaced deadlinedriven environment
- Enrolled in a relevant degree program or recent graduate in Film Media or a related field
- Portfolio showcasing video editing projects is preferred
- Understanding of color correction and audio editing techniques
- Passion for storytelling through visual media
- Knowledge of motion graphics and animation is a plus
