Job Description
Overview:
The role of a Resident Medical Officer (RMO) with MBBS qualification is vital in providing medical care and support within a healthcare organization. RMOs play a crucial role in delivering highquality care to patients ensuring effective communication with healthcare teams and handling medical emergencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide medical care and treatment to patients with a focus on MBBS protocols and standards
- Assess patients medical conditions and create suitable treatment plans
- Conduct regular patient checkups and monitor their progress
- Participate in medical rounds and collaborate with healthcare professionals
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care
- Document patient medical records and maintain accurate data
- Ensure compliance with medical regulations and ethical standards
- Coordinate with other medical staff to optimize patient care
- Contribute to medical research and participate in clinical audits
- Provide support and guidance to junior medical staff
- Participate in continuous medical education and training
- Contribute to the development of medical policies and procedures

- Communicate effectively with patients and their families
- Adhere to infection control and hospital safety protocols
Required Qualifications:
- MBBS degree from a recognized institution
- Valid medical license and registration
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a medical officer
- Proficient knowledge of medical procedures and protocols
- Ability to handle medical emergencies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration abilities
- Sound decisionmaking and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency in medical recordkeeping and documentation
- Adherence to ethical and professional standards
- Willingness to work in shifts and handle oncall duties
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Knowledge of infection control and hospital safety practices
- Ability to multitask and prioritize patient care needs
