Job Title: Software Test Engineer
Location: Ahmedabad Gujarat India
Employment Type: FullTime OnSite
Role Description:
We are hiring a Software Test Engineer for the Ahmedabad location for VCfunded FinTech company.
In this role you will be responsible for creating and executing various test plans test cases and test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our products. You will work closely with the development team to troubleshoot issues and ensure seamless software delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Test Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive test plans test cases and test scripts based on product requirements and specifications.
- EndtoEnd Testing: Understand the full functionality of the product and identify relevant test scenarios.
- Defect Management: Identify document and track defects using a defect management system and ensure timely resolution.
- Collaboration: Work with the development team to troubleshoot issues and ensure highquality software delivery.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of test results review them and assist in go/nogo decisions.
- Ownership: Take full ownership of the quality of deliverables and the test environment.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with best practices in quality assurance and identify areas for improvement.
MustHave Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 2 year of experience in software testing particularly with APIs and web applications.
- Tools: Proficient in using testing tools like Postman (must) and JMeter.
- Skills: Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) quality practices and processes.
- Test Case Development: Ability to write and execute test cases and test plans.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Collaboration: Ability to actively collaborate with product teams and software engineers.
NicetoHave Qualifications:
- Certification: ISTQB certification.
- Industry Experience: Relevant experience in the fintech industry.
- Automation: Expertise with test automation frameworks such as Selenium Robot Framework Cypress etc.
- Independence: Ability to work independently and take initiative.
