Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Strategy:
- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers fostering a culture of innovation collaboration and excellence.
- Define and implement the engineering vision and strategy in alignment with the companys goals and market demands.
- Collaborate with product management design and other stakeholders to define project requirements and deliver highquality solutions.
Technical Oversight:
- Ensure best practices in software development code quality and deployment processes.
- Stay uptodate with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the team.
- Oversee architectural design and system scalability to support rapid growth and evolving customer needs.
Project Management:
- Manage multiple engineering projects ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards.
- Utilize Agile methodologies to enhance team productivity and responsiveness to changing business priorities.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Foster a collaborative environment between engineering and other departments including compliance risk management and customer support.
- Communicate technical concepts and project statuses to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Talent Development:
- Identify skills gaps within the team and facilitate training and development opportunities.
- Recruit top engineering talent to build a highperforming team.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science Engineering or a
related field from a premier institute.
Experience:
- 8 years of experience in software engineering with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the fintech industry.
- Proven track record of delivering complex software projects in a fastpaced environment.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java Python or JavaScript.
- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS Azure Google Cloud) and microservices architecture.
- Strong understanding of fintech regulations compliance and security best practices.
