Job Description
Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting gynaecological examinations and interpreting patient histories.
- Performing surgical procedures as necessary such as hysterectomies or laparoscopies.
- Diagnosing and treating various gynaecological conditions and disorders including endometriosis and cervical dysplasia.
- Providing prenatal care and assisting in childbirth when applicable.
- Guiding and educating patients on reproductive health contraception and family planning.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and treatment.
- Conducting and interpreting diagnostic tests such as ultrasounds and blood work.
- Adhering to medical and ethical standards as well as maintaining accurate patient records.
- Participating in continuous medical education and staying abreast of advancements in gynaecology.
- Contributing to departmental meetings and initiatives to improve patient care and outcomes.
Required Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MS/MD/DGO) with specialization in gynaecology.
- Valid medical license to practice as a gynaecologist in Uttar Pradesh.
- Demonstrated surgical skills and experience in performing gynaecological procedures.
- Strong diagnostic and analytical abilities to assess and address gynaecological issues.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and collaborate with healthcare teams.
- Empathy and compassion towards patients and their unique healthcare needs.
- Proven experience in providing prenatal care managing childbirth and postnatal support.
- Adherence to ethical and professional standards in line with gynaecological practice.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic healthcare environment.
- Commitment to continuing medical education and professional development in gynaecology.
