Our client is seeking an experienced Leader to lead their Transportation department focusing on improving logistics operations efficiency. The ideal candidate will manage PanIndia logistics ensuring timely and reliable customer service while driving operational excellence.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Oversee inbound and outbound logistics for both domestic and export orders.
- Manage logistics across multiple locations ensuring efficient freight management
- Collaborate with vendors negotiate contracts and monitor vendor performance through digital tools.
- Drive digitalization efforts across the supply chain leveraging AI and data science for cost optimization.
- Plan and manage peak seasons uncertainties and surge demands.
- Align logistics strategies with sales teams and adopt global best practices.
- Focus on green logistics and reduction in Scope 3 emissions.
- Lead and develop a highperforming team ensuring team engagement and collaboration.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field.
- Must have experience in Building material industry.
- Must have managed multiple manufacturing sites logistics.
- 1520 years of experience in logistics transportation or supply chain management.
- Strong vendor management negotiation and leadership skills.
- Experience in using AI for logistics optimization is a plus.
