Overview
The SAP SAC Dashboard Consultant plays a crucial role in translating business requirements into effective data solutions within the SAP Analytics Cloud environment. This position involves designing and developing interactive dashboards that empower stakeholders to make informed decisions based on realtime data insights. With a deep understanding of both SAP analytics tools and business processes the consultant will collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams to ensure the implementation of best practices in data visualization and reporting. The consultant will also contribute to training and supporting endusers ensuring that they can leverage these tools effectively. Ultimately the SAP SAC Dashboard Consultant serves as a vital link between data analytics and business strategy driving improved performance through enhanced data comprehension.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop interactive dashboards in SAP Analytics Cloud.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and define requirements.
- Implement best practices for data visualization and dashboard design.
- Optimize performance of existing dashboards for better user experience.
- Create and maintain documentation for dashboards and reporting processes.
- Integrate data from various sources into SAC for comprehensive analysis.
- Conduct training sessions for endusers on utilizing dashboards effectively.
- Support data analysis and reporting efforts to drive business decisions.
- Monitor and troubleshoot dashboard performance issues.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency by validating data sources.
- Work alongside IT and data governance teams to enhance data integrity.
- Stay current with advancements in SAP Analytics Cloud and BI tools.
- Provide recommendations on enhancements and product features.
- Develop prototypes and proof of concepts for new dashboard initiatives.
- Engage in regular meetings with stakeholders to discuss requirements and progress.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- 46 years of experience in SAP Analytics Cloud.
- Proven experience in dashboard development and data visualization.
- Strong understanding of data integration techniques.
- Proficiency in SQL and other data query languages.
- Familiarity with business intelligence concepts and methodologies.
- Demonstrated analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
- Experience working in a teamoriented collaborative environment.
- Knowledge of data governance and data management practices.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Certifications in SAP Analytics Cloud or related tools are a plus.
- Previous experience in a business analyst or BI role is advantageous.
- Understanding of industry trends in analytics and reporting.
