Business Analyst with CMS Project Experience
Overview: The Business Analyst plays a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. With 68 years of experience especially in Content Management Systems (CMS) projects this position is pivotal in enhancing operational efficiencies and ensuring successful project delivery. The Business Analyst will collaborate with various stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements design business processes and implement solutions that meet the organizations strategic objectives. This role not only improves understanding of business needs but also ensures that project outcomes align with the companys vision. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills technical knowledge in CMS and a proven track record of managing complex projects. The successful execution of this role directly impacts the organization s ability to deliver quality digital experiences making the Business Analyst an essential asset to our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather prioritize and document business requirements.
- Analyze and document existing business processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop functional specifications and technical documentation for projects.
- Act as a liaison between the IT department and business units.
- Lead project meetings and presentations to stakeholders and project teams.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings for business process mapping and analysis.
- Utilize data analysis techniques to drive business decisions.
- Create user stories and acceptance criteria for development teams.
- Participate in quality assurance testing to validate project deliverables align with requirements.
- Support training of endusers and provide ongoing support as needed.
- Monitor project progress and report on status to stakeholders.
- Evaluate and recommend technology solutions to improve business processes.
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards and methodologies in project execution.
- Manage project timelines resources and budgets effectively.
- Assist in change management processes to enable smooth transitions during project implementations.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Business Administration Information Technology or related field.
- 68 years of experience as a Business Analyst specifically in CMS projects.
- Proven experience in requirements gathering and analysis.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and project management principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly proficient in data analysis and visualization tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Content Management Systems and related technologies.
- Experience in creating process maps and workflow diagrams.
- Ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Experience with testing methodologies and QA processes.
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CBAP PMIPBA) are a plus.
- Willingness to travel as needed for project requirements.
