Overview

The Guest Relations Executive plays an integral role in ensuring that all guests receive exceptional service and have a memorable experience during their stay at our establishment. This position acts as the main contact point for guests and is responsible for ensuring that their needs are met promptly and efficiently. The Guest Relations Executive is key in bridging communication between guests and the hotel s various departments ensuring that all guest preferences and feedback are accurately conveyed. The role involves a proactive approach to guest service anticipating needs before they arise and resolving any issues that may occur quickly and effectively. In an industry where customer satisfaction is paramount this position helps to uphold the company s reputation and encourages repeat business through stellar service and personalized experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests warmly upon arrival ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
  • Provide personalized service tailored to the preferences and needs of each guest.
  • Assist with checkin and checkout processes ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
  • Address guest inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to resolve issues affecting guest comfort.
  • Assist in planning and executing special events or requests such as anniversaries and celebrations.
  • Maintain accurate records of guest interactions and feedback for future service improvements.
  • Conduct weekly inspections of guest rooms to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Promote hotel amenities services and excursions to encourage guest participation.
  • Handle and follow up on guest complaints with empathy and professionalism.
  • Develop relationships with guests recognizing repeat visitors and preferences.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction through surveys feedback and personal interactions.
  • Assist in marketing initiatives and promoting hotel specials.
  • Collaborate with front desk and concierge teams to enhance guest experience.
  • Participate in staff training sessions to improve overall service quality.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a customer service or hospitality role.
  • Proven experience in a guest relations or front desk position is an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to engage with diverse clientele.
  • Ability to maintain composure in a fastpaced environment.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in using hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Familiarity with local attractions and events.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong sales and upselling capabilities.
