Overview
The SAP ABAP CRM UI Developer plays a crucial role in designing developing and implementing user interfaces for CRM applications within an SAP environment. This position is key to enhancing user experiences by ensuring effective and efficient CRM solutions. The developer will be responsible for utilizing ABAP programming to create dynamic responsive and userfriendly interfaces tailored to the needs of the organization. As part of the IT team the SAP ABAP CRM UI Developer collaborates closely with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. With a focus on performance optimization data management and debugging this role contributes significantly to the advancement of CRM initiatives that align with organizational goals. The ideal candidate possesses not only technical skills but also the agility to adapt to changing business needs while maintaining high standards of quality and user satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop user interfaces for SAP CRM applications using ABAP.
- Collaborate with functional teams to analyze user requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Implement enhancements and modifications to existing CRM UI solutions.
- Perform debugging and troubleshooting of ABAP programs and UI components.
- Conduct code reviews and performance optimization to improve application efficiency.
- Maintain documentation for developed solutions and technical procedures.
- Utilize SAP best practices in UI design and development.
- Engage in regular communication with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives.
- Support testing and quality assurance processes for delivered solutions.
- Provide postimplementation support and resolve user issues related to CRM UI.
- Work with project managers to prioritize and deliver tasks on time.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in SAP and CRM applications.
- Mentor junior developers and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
- Integrate UI components with backend services and databases.
- Prepare status reports and documentation for project tracking.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
- 415 years of experience in SAP ABAP development specifically in CRM applications.
- Strong knowledge of SAP CRM module functionalities and processes.
- Proficiency in developing and customizing UI5 applications within SAP environments.
- Experience with objectoriented programming concepts in ABAP.
- Familiarity with data modeling and database design principles.
- Ability to debug analyze and troubleshoot complex ABAP programs.
- Strong communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
- Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML CSS and JavaScript.
- Proven track record of delivering projects within timelines and budget.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a teamoriented environment.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing business needs.
- Certifications in SAP ABAP or related fields would be an advantage.
