Job Description
Overview
The role requires a strong technical background combined with problemsolving abilities and effective communication skills to engage with clients stakeholders and regulatory authorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design solar energy systems tailored to specific project needs.
- Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments.
- Oversee the installation and commissioning of solar projects.
- Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets.
- Perform energy yield assessments and system optimization.
- Analyze shade impacts and develop mitigation strategies.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations for stakeholders.
- Manage relationships with suppliers and contractors.
- Stay updated on industry trends technologies and regulatory requirements.
- Implement quality assurance protocols throughout project phases.
- Troubleshoot system performance issues postinstallation.
- Assist in securing project financing and grants.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Renewable Energy Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Min 2 years of experience in solar engineering or related role.
- Proficiency in solar design software (e.g. PVsyst AutoCAD).
- Strong understanding of photovoltaic technology and electrical systems.
- Experience in project management methodologies.
- Knowledge of battery storage and hybrid systems is a plus.
- Certifications in solar energy or related fields are preferred.
- Proven track record of successful solar project delivery.
- Passion for sustainable energy and environmental stewardship.
