Overview
The Oracle Configure Price Quote (CPQ) Developer plays a crucial role in leveraging Oracle CPQ Cloud solutions to streamline and enhance the sales process within an organization. This position is vital for ensuring that the pricing and configuration processes are efficient accurate and aligned with business strategies. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Oracle CPQ implementation and customization along with strong technical skills to deliver highquality solutions. By working closely with crossfunctional teams the Oracle CPQ Developer will help optimize workflows and contribute to more effective sales methodologies thus playing a key part in overall revenue generation. This role not only demands technical expertise but also requires excellent communication and problemsolving skills to address complex business challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and configure Oracle CPQ solutions to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
- Design pricing models and workflows ensuring accurate quotes.
- Implement product configurations and aid in product catalog management.
- Customize CPQ user interfaces to enhance user experience.
- Integrate Oracle CPQ with other enterprise applications.
- Test and validate CPQ configurations before deployment.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance of CPQ solutions.
- Train and mentor team members and endusers.
- Analyze system performance and recommend enhancements.
- Document technical specifications and update process documentation.
- Participate in Agile process for continual improvement.
- Research and implement best practices for CPQ solutions.
- Work closely with sales teams to understand their needs.
- Stay updated with new features and updates from Oracle CPQ.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 415 years of experience in Oracle CPQ development.
- Proficiency in SQL and database management.
- Experience with REST/SOAP API integrations.
- Knowledge of XML and related technologies.
- Strong scripting skills in languages like JavaScript or Groovy.
- Experience working with pricing rules and configuration logic.
- Understanding of sales processes and methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with Agile project management practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time.
- Certifications related to Oracle technologies are a plus.
- Detailoriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
