The FIS Platform team operates as an incubated startup within FIS with a mandate to create a worldclass embedded finance platform. We have a fastpaced and fun group that believes strongly in customercentricity and setting a high bar for everything we ship.
As a Senior Product Designer at FIS youll take ownership of design vision and execution to design the future of banking experience for millions of consumers. This is a seniorlevel position within our new design group focusing on a mix of building banking experiences from scratch redesigning existing SaaS banking products and contributing to an FIS design system.
As a Senior Product Designer youll shape the future of banking products used by millions globally driving creative and strategic design leadership across our platforms.
What Youll Do:
- Facilitate product strategy discussions road mapping sessions and ideation activities to support business goals.
- Collaborate with product leads and engineering teams to manage multiple design workstreams from ideation to execution.
- Design intuitive endtoend product experiences for financial products ensuring alignment with user needs and business objectives.
- Utilize user research data and insights to inform design decisions creating prototypes wireframes and highfidelity designs.
- Lead design sprints and planning sessions ensuring deliverables are on time and meet highquality standards.
- Ensure consistency in design systems and frameworks enabling reuse and scalability across the product suite.
- Communicate the impact of design decisions within the project team and beyond telling a clear story of why decisions were made.
- Work through ambiguity turning complex problems into clear design solutions.
What Youll Need:
- 5 years of experience in product design ideally within tech companies or enterprise environments bonus for fintech or banking experience.
- Strong portfolio showcasing proficiency in visual design interaction design and usercentered design methodologies.
- Experience working closely with crossfunctional teams (product engineering) to ship highquality products.
- Ability to work independently prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Figma or similar design tools; familiarity with developer platforms such as React is a plus.
- Strong communication skills able to articulate design rationale and influence stakeholders across all levels.
- Proven track record of translating user research into successful product designs and delivering impactful web and mobile experiences.
