Job Title: Duty Doctor (BAMS/BHMS)

As a Duty Doctor specializing in BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) or BHMS (Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery) in Itarsi MP you will play a pivotal role in delivering holistic healthcare services to the community. This position demands a deep understanding of Ayurvedic and Homeopathic principles and practices and your expertise will be integral to developing treatment plans that promote wellness through these traditional medical systems. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team addressing the diverse health needs of patients and ensuring a high standard of care. Your ability to communicate effectively with patients understand their symptoms and provide accurate diagnoses will significantly impact health outcomes. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine health needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on Ayurvedic and Homeopathic principles.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary.
- Provide emergency medical care and support as required.
- Educate patients on lifestyle modifications and preventive health measures.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Instruct patients on the preparation and use of prescribed herbal and homeopathic remedies.
- Participate in community outreach programs to raise health awareness.
- Stay updated with advancements in Ayurvedic and Homeopathic medicine.
- Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results to aid in treatment decisions.
- Lead health camps and workshops focusing on wellness and preventive care.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety protocols.
- Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families.
- Engage in continuous professional development activities to enhance skills.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Ayurvedic Medicine (BAMS) or Homeopathic Medicine (BHMS).
- Valid medical license to practice in India.
- Minimum of 12 years of clinical experience as a doctor.
- Strong knowledge of Ayurvedic and Homeopathic treatments.
- Excellent diagnostic and clinical assessment skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a teamoriented environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in recordkeeping and documentation.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
