We are currently seeking an experienced selfmotivated and reliable Maintenance Manager to join our team at Oaks Boome Hotel.
This position will be responsible for overseeing all Maintenance & Facilities requirements for both properties.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Implement and drive the preventative maintenance program.
- Perform the role in a handson manner by undertaking any repairs and maintenance as required.
- Supervision of (but not limited to) electrical mechanical pest control cleaning fire protection security control systems hydraulic services and approved contractor works.
- Ensure WHS best practice at all times.
- Stock control supplier management.
- Quoting scheduling and managing of Capex Requests
- Assisting Hotel Manager with recruitment for the Maintenance department
Expected hours: 38 hours per week

Annual salary range: $70000$75000

Qualifications :
The successful applicant will have:
- Previous handson Maintenance/Facilities Management experience preferably in a hotel environment;
- Proven ability to manage and develop team members;
- Experience implementing a preventative maintenance program;
- Experience organising consulting and negotiating with Contractors;
- Sound MS Office skills (including Excel spreadsheets and word documents)
- A passion for delivering exceptional proactive service;
- Excellent interpersonal and communications combined with impeccable presentation
- Availability to work Monday Friday with some on call work on weekends
- Building qualification will be highly regarded
