Job Description
Job Title: AutoCAD Designer
We are seeking a skilled AutoCAD Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in civil construction design with a strong focus on creating accurate 2D and 3D drawings that meet project specifications and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD including plans sections elevations and details.
- Ensure designs comply with local Development Control Regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to revise and refine drawings based on feedback.
- Maintain a comprehensive set of construction drawings including site plans plot layouts staircases ramps etc.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in AutoCAD software.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an AutoCAD Designer with knowledge of civil construction projects.
- Indepth understanding of construction entities (e.g. site plans tenements ramps).
- Strong knowledge of Development Control Regulations.
- Attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and documents.
- Bachelor s degree in Architecture Engineering or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional AutoCAD certification or related design software.
- Experience with BIM software (e.g. Revit).
