Job Description

The Project Coordinator in hospitality manages projects like hotel openings renovations and events. They coordinate tasks across departments (operations sales F&B) manage resources budgets and timelines and ensure compliance with industry standards. Acting as the main point of contact they facilitate communication to ensure successful project completion and enhance the guest experience.


Key Elements for Project Coordination (Hospitality)

1.Project Planning & Coordination:

  • Assist in developing and implementing project plans including timelines schedules and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate daytoday tasks across departments (operations sales marketing F&B) to ensure timely project completion.
2.Stakeholder & Vendor Management:
  • Liaise with internal teams vendors and contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders suppliers contractors and clients.
3.Operational Support:
  • Provide support to ensure alignment of project objectives with overall business strategy (e.g. events hotel openings renovations).
  • Monitor progress address issues and ensure smooth service delivery.
4.Budget & Resource Management:
  • Assist in managing project budgets monitoring expenses to stay within budget.
  • Help allocate and manage resources effectively (staffing materials etc.) throughout the project phases.
5.Documentation & Reporting:
  • Maintain detailed project records (contracts timelines permits etc.).
  • Prepare status reports and presentations for management and stakeholders.
6.Risk Management & Problem Solving:
  • Identify and help mitigate risks (delays vendor issues operational challenges).
  • Resolve issues promptly to avoid disruptions in project flow.
7.Quality Control & Compliance:
  • Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and comply with hospitality regulations safety standards and brand guidelines.
  • Monitor service delivery to ensure guest satisfaction and operational excellence.
