Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Desktop & O365 Admin to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have 23 years of experience managing desktop systems and administering Office 365 environments. You will be responsible for providing technical support managing user accounts and ensuring seamless operations of both desktop and cloudbased O365 services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Desktop Administration:
- Install configure and maintain desktop systems (Windows and macOS).
- Provide troubleshooting and technical support for hardware software and networking issues.
- Manage desktop security including antivirus updates and patch management.
- Perform system backups and assist in disaster recovery processes.
- Set up and configure new desktops laptops and peripheral devices for employees.
- O365 Administration:
- Manage Office 365 user accounts licenses and permissions.
- Administer Exchange Online Teams SharePoint and OneDrive services.
- Troubleshoot issues related to Office 365 applications including Outlook email and collaboration tools.
- Implement security measures including multifactor authentication (MFA) and password policies.
- Monitor Office 365 services for security threats and potential issues.
- Support & Maintenance:
- Provide user support for both desktop and Office 365related issues.
- Assist in desktop rollouts upgrades and migrations.
- Maintain system documentation and create guides for endusers on troubleshooting common issues.
- Work closely with other IT team members to ensure smooth operations and efficient use of resources.
Required Skills:
- Desktop Support:
- Strong knowledge of desktop hardware operating systems (Windows and macOS) and troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience with Active Directory (AD) for user management and desktop configuration.
- Office 365 Administration:
- Experience with Office 365 suite including Outlook Exchange Online SharePoint OneDrive and Teams.
- Proficiency in managing Office 365 licenses users and groups.
- Familiarity with Office 365 security tools such as MFA security groups and compliance management.
- ProblemSolving:
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills to diagnose and resolve desktop and O365 issues.
- Communication Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to provide clear support to nontechnical users.
- Time Management:
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fastpaced environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in IT Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
- 23 years of experience in desktop support and Office 365 administration.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or similar (a plus).
- Familiarity with basic networking and troubleshooting.
