Job Overview:
The primary responsibility will be to design & development of products with its relevant R &D activities.
To this end you will cooperate closely with your colleagues in designated teams ensuring that applications and/or machines meet high level of quality standards and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Design & development of mechanical subassemblies & parts considering the manufacturing
processes in metals like sheet metal machining casting etc along with plastics like FRP Vacuum
forming etc
Standard bought out part selection like bearings GB motors hardware etc
2D drawings 3d parts & assembly in Solid works. (Analysis experience is plus)
Ensuring compliance with relevant standards (CE ISO ASME)
Participate in cross functional engineering tasks and solving technical and quality issues.
Being responsible for coordinating with the Supply Chain.
Vendor interaction wherever required for part development or purchasing BO in development
phase.
Qualifications:
Skills:
Expertise in material selection as per the application & understand manufacturing processes
limitations.
Expertise & knowledge of electromechanical design prototype development & testing project
management handling multifunctional activities related to product design.
Familiarity with product development steps like vendor interaction stake holders management
timely updating the project plan production release documentations (BOM GA drawings mfg.
files).
Knowledge about adaptive & empirical design principles and its implementation with certifications
& standard like CE IEC.
Good experience in 2D drawings 3d parts & assembly design along with the Analysis in Solid
works.
Creative thinker with problemsolving attitude.
Experience:
58 years of experience in Mechanical design product design & development preferably in
the Industrial Automobile Robotics Appliances industry.
Education:
an engineering education in mechanical engineering.
