Overview
The Gynaecologist Consultant is a critical role within our healthcare facility located in Deoghar Jharkhand. This position is vital for providing comprehensive reproductive health services to women of all ages focusing on both preventative care and the treatment of various gynaecological conditions. The consultant will play a significant part in delivering clinical excellence educating patients about their health and contributing to the overall wellbeing of the community. With an emphasis on compassionate care the Gynaecologist will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure that all patients receive highquality medical attention rooted in evidencebased practices. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct gynaecological examinations and assessments.
- Diagnose and treat a variety of reproductive health issues.
- Perform surgical procedures as required.
- Develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Provide prenatal and postnatal care.
- Educate patients on reproductive health and preventative care.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals in multidisciplinary teams.
- Participate in community health education programs.
- Stay updated with advancements in gynaecological health.
- Guide and supervise junior staff and medical residents.
- Conduct research as needed to enhance practice.
- Manage emergencies and critical situations efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Offer counseling and emotional support to patients and families.
Required Qualifications
- MBBS degree from a recognized institution.
- MS in Gynaecology or equivalent qualification.
- DGO certification is mandatory.
- Active medical license to practice in Jharkhand.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the field of gynaecology.
- Strong background in both surgical and nonsurgical treatments.
- Experience in managing highrisk pregnancies preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in electronic medical record systems.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to handle a diverse patient population.
- Ability to educate and inform patients effectively.
