Job Description

ERP SAVVY is seeking an experienced HL7 FHIR Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare IT with extensive experience in HL7 FHIR standards and interoperability. This role involves working closely with clients to implement and optimize FHIRbased solutions ensuring seamless integration and data exchange across healthcare systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • FHIR Implementation: Lead the design development and implementation of HL7 FHIR solutions for various healthcare applications.
  • Interoperability Solutions: Develop and maintain interoperability solutions to facilitate seamless data exchange between healthcare systems.
  • Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their requirements provide technical guidance and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide expert advice on HL7 FHIR standards best practices and emerging trends in healthcare interoperability.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for FHIR implementations including technical specifications and user guides.
  • Training and Support: Conduct training sessions for clients and internal teams on FHIR standards and implementation processes.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and compliance of FHIR solutions through rigorous testing and validation.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in healthcare IT with a focus on HL7 FHIR standards and interoperability.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in FHIR HL7 v2/v3 CDA and other healthcare interoperability standards. Strong programming skills in languages such as Java Python or C#.
  • Project Management: Proven experience in managing and delivering complex healthcare IT projects.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
  • ProblemSolving: Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in healthcare IT are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloudbased healthcare solutions and platforms.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards in healthcare IT.
  • Certification in HL7 FHIR or related interoperability standards.
