Overview
The position of Interventional Cardiologist DM DNB Consultant at Lunavada Gujarat is critical to our organizations commitment to delivering advanced cardiac care. As a specialist in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular diseases the interventional cardiologist will play a vital role in managing acute and chronic heart conditions. This physician will be responsible for performing complex minimally invasive procedures including angioplasties and stent placements which significantly improve patient outcomes. In addition to clinical responsibilities this role involves educating patients about their conditions and preventive care strategies. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team ensuring an integrated approach to patient care. By leveraging the latest technology and techniques in cardiovascular medicine the interventional cardiologist will contribute to the hospitals reputation as a leader in heart health and enhance the quality of life for patients in the Lunavada community.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with cardiac conditions.
- Perform interventional cardiac procedures such as angioplasties and stent placements.
- Interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies to guide treatment plans.
- Provide preand postprocedure care and followup for patients.
- Collaborate with cardiovascular surgical teams for patient management.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment options and health maintenance.
- Stay updated on advancements in interventional cardiology.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to patient care.
- Supervise and train residents and medical fellows during rotations.
- Maintain meticulous medical records consistent with hospital protocols.
- Consult with other specialties to optimize patient management.
- Provide emergency cardiac care as required.
- Engage in clinical research and trials to contribute to the field.
- Attend and present at medical conferences to share knowledge.
- Develop health programs aimed at improving community heart health.
Required Qualifications
- MD in Internal Medicine or equivalent.
- DM in Cardiology or DNB in Cardiology.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in interventional cardiology.
- Proven track record of performing cardiac procedures.
- Board certification in Cardiology.
- Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology.
- Experience with echocardiography and cardiopulmonary diagnostics.
- Familiarity with latest cardiac interventions and technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a teamoriented environment.
- Commitment to continuing education and professional development.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Valid medical license to practice in Gujarat.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including oncall shifts.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards.
- A proactive approach to patient care and problemsolving.
