Job Summary: We are looking for a proactive and resultsdriven Business Development Executive (BDE) with 25 years of experience in IT services sales. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating leads building relationships with prospective clients and driving business growth for our IT services. You will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities presenting our service offerings and closing deals to meet revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation: Identify and generate new business opportunities through various channels such as cold calling email campaigns social media and networking events.
Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients understanding their IT needs and presenting customized solutions.
Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets and grow the client base.
Proposal Development: Prepare and present proposals quotes and contracts to potential clients ensuring they align with their business objectives.
Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate contract terms and close sales by clearly communicating the value of our IT services and addressing client concerns.
Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends market dynamics and competitors to identify business opportunities and potential challenges.
Collaboration: Work closely with technical teams and management to ensure client expectations are met and projects are delivered successfully.
Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities client interactions and pipeline management using CRM tools.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business Marketing IT or a related field.
25 years of experience in business development or sales specifically in IT services (software development cloud services IT consulting etc.).
Strong understanding of IT services technologies and market trends.
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with clients at various levels.
Strong negotiation presentation and closing skills.
Selfmotivated goaloriented and able to work independently.
Familiarity with CRM software and sales management tools.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in B2B sales within the IT sector.
Understanding of the Pune IT market and local client base.
Knowledge of cloud computing cybersecurity software development and IT consulting services.
