You will develop proofofconcept software for vision and radar applications in automotive applications on the Renesas RCAR Vx SOC exploiting computer vision and radar features using DSP and Renesasspecific IPs for DOF/computer vision. You will discuss requirements for the nextgeneration ADAS products that comprise tools software and hardware. You will utilize existing code libraries as the base for computer vision applications. You will further grow the scope of those libraries for use in generic ADAS application contexts. You will work closely with application engineering teams in Europe Japan and US.
Your main responsibilities are:
- Bring up computer vision and radar applications on RCAR Vx hardware platforms and with model/simulator
- Predeveloping computer vision and radar features in collaboration with multiple teams debug and fix related bugs
- Prototyping computer vision and radar processing features for future products and design
- Understand and define KPI and do performance evaluations
- Discuss requirements for future ADAS products i.e. tools software and hardware with the respective system architecture and hardware/software development teams
- Document proofofconcept code and benchmark results and provide meaningful application notes
- Support Renesas automotive customers with Renesas RCAR computer vision and radar applications and debug reported issues as well as providing proofofconcept code
Qualifications :
Relevant Experiences (Combination of goodtohave and musthave):
- 6 years of Relevant embedded programming and debugging skills with C/Cpp in an embedded system like RCAR SOC
- Experience with software design with Linux OS (software design with QNX is a plus)
- Proven track record in software development
- Ability to work with simulator and hardware environment as well as flashing of a device
- Proven track record for application bring up and debugging with embedded system
- Proven experience with automotive computer vision and radar applications
- Experience working with ARM architectures
- An academic degree in Computer Science Electronics or similar
- Work independently in an international team with several stakeholders
- hTeam player having good communication skills and very good English in speech and writing
