How youll be making an impact in peoples lives:
- Undertaking Occupational Therapy assessments including activities of daily living home worksite functional ergonomic equipment assessments
- Undertaking assessments relevant to your discipline to develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans
- Designing and implementing intervention programmes using occupation to improve functional performance independence and work capacity
- Identifying barriers and designing implementing and monitoring programs that support people to achieve maximal work participation
- Understanding a variety of healthcare and rehabilitation funding schemes and empowering your clients to achieve their wellness and recovery goals
- Liaising with clients family members funding bodies medical practitioners employers and stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes
Qualifications :
What youll bring to the role:
- Australian recognised degree qualification in Occupational Therapy and AHPRA accreditation
- Willingness to learn and impact positively on peoples lives in tangible ways
- The ability to engage clients and stakeholders in the wellness and work journey
- A commitment to a high level of customer service to your clients and customers
- Willingness to work in the community (must have drivers licence and access to own vehicle)
- Current or able to get a Working with Children Check and Police Clearance
