Overview
The Data Analyst plays a critical role in guiding the organization s decisionmaking through datadriven insights. As an essential member of the analytics team the Data Analyst is responsible for collecting processing and analyzing vast amounts of data to uncover trends and patterns that can inform business strategies. This role requires a combination of technical expertise analytical skills and a clear understanding of the industry to convert complex data sets into coherent reports and actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and organize large sets of structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.
- Perform statistical analysis to identify trends and patterns that can optimize business processes.
- Develop and maintain dashboards(Preferably tableau) and reports to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Create data models that support analytical processes and reporting systems.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand their data needs and objectives.
- Utilize SQL for data extraction manipulation and analysis.
- Implement data quality assurance processes to ensure data integrity.
- Communicate findings effectively to nontechnical stakeholders through presentations and reports.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement based on data trends and analytics.
- Perform adhoc analysis to support business decisions and strategies.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess program performance.
- Assist in the development of predictive models to forecast future trends.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data analytics.
- Provide training and support to team members in data analysis tools and techniques.
- Participate in project teams to provide analytical support at all stages of project development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Data Science Statistics Mathematics or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role in a business environment.
- Proficient in data visualization tools such as Tableau
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database management systems.
- Solid understanding of statistical methods and practices.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables and advanced functions.
- Exceptional problemsolving skills with analytical thinking.
- Detailoriented with strong organizational skills.
- Experience with data mining and data cleansing techniques.
- Knowledge of business intelligence concepts and tools.
