Job Description

Overview

The Software Sales Executive plays a crucial role in the success of our organization by driving sales of software solutions tailored to meet the needs of our diverse clientele. This position requires a deep understanding of software products market trends and customer requirements to effectively communicate the value of our solutions. The Software Sales Executive is often the first point of contact for prospective clients and serves as a trusted advisor throughout the sales cycle.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and target potential clients through various lead generation techniques.
  • Conduct thorough market research to keep abreast of industry trends and competitor offerings.
  • Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales effectively to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain strong longlasting relationships with clients.
  • Provide timely feedback to senior management regarding market trends and client needs.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to align strategies and optimize marketing efforts.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals ensuring customer satisfaction throughout.
  • Prepare and present detailed sales reports and forecasts based on performance metrics.
  • Attend industry conferences and networking events to promote products and services.
  • Utilize CRM tools for tracking customer interactions and maintaining accurate records.
  • Train and onboard new sales staff as necessary.
  • Assist clients in the implementation of software solutions.
  • Stay updated on product knowledge and industry changes to provide relevant guidance to clients.
  • Resolve customer queries and complaints promptly to ensure a positive experience.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business Marketing or a related field.
  • A minimum of 24 years of experience in software sales or a similar role.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of software products and technology solutions.
  • Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
  • Customercentric mindset with a focus on building lasting relationships.
  • Ability to adapt to a fastpaced evolving work environment.
  • Understanding of digital marketing principles is a plus.
  • Professional certifications related to sales or software technology are advantageous.
