Were on the lookout for an experienced Engineering Leader to join our Platform team.
In this role you will be responsible for giving engineering leadership to a talented team of Software Engineers/ DevOps Engineers and Designers. You will also work closely with Product and Program Managers as well as QA Leaders ensuring all aspects of the Software development lifecycle in the teams you are responsible for. You will be a highcapacity individual who is capable of quickly adjusting to changing priorities and situations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Drive engineering standards and participate in sprint planning estimating and execution.
- Foster a learning culture ensuring teams are coached and guided on a daytoday basis in relentlessly improving engineering practices and ways of working in the teams.
- Work with team members in setting achievable goals for personal growth and career development.
- Work closely with stakeholders across the organization.
- Ensure highquality software delivery with a right firsttime approach.
- Contribute to recruitment efforts perform appraisals and be involved in salary setting discussions.
Qualifications :
- University degree or equivalent professional qualifications in a field relevant for the technical and/or functional area or responsibility along with 510 years handson experience in a leadership role
- Experience of agile development methodology
- Experience of leading globally distributed teams
- Used to prioritizing and take decisions
- Used to presenting leading and inspiring people
- Good understanding of one or more of our target industries and domain product / technology offerings as well as the business application processes for our target customers.
- Experience from relevant industries and markets and are used to interaction with customers and partners
