Job Description
Overview: The SAP HANA Analytics specialist plays a pivotal role in leveraging data to drive strategic decisionmaking within the organization. This position involves utilizing SAP HANAs advanced analytical capabilities to extract insights develop reports and support datadriven initiatives. As businesses increasingly rely on data analytics for competitive advantage the significance of this role cannot be overstated.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data models in SAP HANA for optimal performance.
- Develop complex SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.
- Create interactive dashboards and reports using SAP Analytics Cloud.
- Optimize and tune SAP HANA database for improved query performance.
- Collaborate with business leaders to understand analytics requirements.
- Assist in data migration and transformation between systems.
- Monitor and troubleshoot datarelated issues in SAP HANA.
- Document technical specifications and analytics processes.
- Conduct training sessions for endusers on analytical tools.
- Ensure data quality and integrity throughout analytics processes.
- Stay updated with SAP HANA developments and best practices.
- Participate in crossfunctional projects to support business initiatives.
- Implement security measures for data protection and compliance.
- Support BI tool integration with SAP HANA.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on analytical findings.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
- 5 years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence.
- Proficient in SAP HANA and associated analytics tools.
- Strong understanding of database management and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience with SQL and data modeling techniques.
- Familiarity with advanced analytics techniques and tools.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex data concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
- Experience with reporting and visualization tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI).
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Keen interest in staying current with industry trends and technologies.
- Prior experience in SAP engagement is a plus.
- Solid understanding of data governance and compliance regulations.
- Relevant certifications in SAP HANA are preferred.
- Strong project management skills to handle multiple priorities.
