Job Description
Job Title: Chief of Staff Manufacturing & Supply Chain (Tiles & Marble Company)
Location: Mumbai
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
About the company: Leading player in the building material segment
Role Overview:
The Chief of Staff for Manufacturing and Supply Chain (SCM) functions will act as a strategic partner to the CEO driving operational efficiency and program excellence. The role involves program management data analytics and crossfunctional collaboration to streamline operations and enhance decisionmaking.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Management:
- Plan and drive strategic initiatives across manufacturing and SCM functions.
- Develop and monitor project timelines budgets and deliverables.
- Identify operational bottlenecks take steps to remove them if necessary and implement process improvements.
- Data Analytics:
- Analyze production operations and supply chain data to generate actionable insights.
- Create dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI to track KPIs and performance metrics.
- Provide datadriven recommendations to optimize costs productivity and efficiency.
- Collaboration & Coordination:
- Work closely with plant managers procurement teams and other functional heads to ensure alignment.
- Act as an interface between manufacturing units and corporate leadership.
- Facilitate regular reviews discussions and action steps.
- Strategic Support:
- Conduct market benchmarking and trend analysis to support functional decisions.
- Assist in evaluating new tools/automated processes.
- Leadership Support:
- Prepare presentations reports and communications for senior leadership.
- Represent the CEO in crossfunctional meetings when needed.
Qualifications
- MBA from a reputed institute.
- 46 years of experience in data analysis and visualization techniques.
- Good understanding of the organizational structure and various matrices for manufacturing operations supply chain and similar functions.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools like Power BI; strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Strong problemsolving and organizational skills.
