Overview
The Sr. IT Recruiter plays a critical role in the talent acquisition strategy of our organization focusing on sourcing attracting and securing toptier IT professionals. This position requires a deep understanding of technology roles industry trends and the nuances of the IT job market. The Sr. IT Recruiter will work closely with hiring managers to identify staffing needs develop job descriptions and implement effective recruitment strategies. With the rapid pace of technological advancement this role is essential for aligning the right talent with the evolving needs of the business. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage recruitment strategies aligned with the companys IT goals.
- Identify and source qualified candidates through diverse channels such as job boards social media and networking.
- Conduct indepth interviews to assess candidates technical and interpersonal skills.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to create and refine job descriptions.
- Maintain an applicant tracking system (ATS) to streamline recruitment processes.
- Build and maintain relationships with potential candidates and industry professionals.
- Guide candidates through the hiring process while providing a positive experience.
- Perform market research to stay updated on industry trends and salary benchmarks.
- Organize and participate in recruitment events including career fairs and networking events.
- Utilize data and metrics to evaluate recruitment efforts and enhance strategies.
- Negotiate job offers extending offers to candidates and facilitating onboarding processes.
- Conduct reference checks and background screenings as part of the hiring process.
- Foster relationships with university placement offices and other recruitment sources.
- Support diversity initiatives by actively sourcing diverse candidate pools.
- Stay informed about relevant labor laws and best practices in recruitment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field.
- 5 years of experience in IT recruiting preferably in a fastpaced environment.
- Strong understanding of IT roles technologies and industry trends.
- Proficient in using applicant tracking systems and recruiting software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
- Strong negotiation skills with a focus on candidate experience.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Knowledge of recruitment metrics and analytics.
- Experience with social media recruiting strategies.
- Familiarity with labor laws and ethical recruiting standards.
- Demonstrated success in filling technical and nontechnical positions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problemsolving skills and a proactive approach to candidate sourcing.
- Willingness to stay updated on industry changes and technological advancements.
- Certifications in HR or recruiting (preferred).
