Job Description
Oracle DBA
Primary responsibility of this position is to optimize functionality of Oraclebased systems including Oracle Clinical. The position includes database design and architecture; conducting PL/SQL queries; performance tuning; and installations and configuration of software. Design implement and maintain database backup and recovery procedures.
Experience in Oracle required with 2 years minimum experience in working with Oracle Clinical pharmaceutical application.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in maintaining Oracle databases and their associated applications. Oracle DBA certification strongly preferred.
Experience in working with Windows and Unix system administration is a plus
Experience working in an ISO regulated environment preferred.
Maintain all components of database systems including architecture design development hardware upgrades functionality builds and tuning.
Oracle 10g experience is strongly preferred.
Database security experience is desired along with Windows administration.
