Job Description

Overview
The Business Development Executive (BDE) plays a critical role in driving the growth and profitability of our organization. Based in Mumbai the BDE will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities building relationships with potential clients and enhancing the company s market presence. This role involves a combination of strategic planning sales prowess and customer service skills to ensure that the organization not only meets its sales goals but also nurtures longterm client relationships. The ideal candidate should be deeply motivated by targets and possess the ability to adapt to the everchanging market dynamics effectively. Ultimately the BDE will contribute significantly to our company s growth strategy by converting leads into profitable business relationships.
Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and target potential business opportunities in the market.
  • Conduct thorough market research to keep abreast of trends and competitors.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to acquire new clients.
  • Generate and qualify leads through networking and various outreach efforts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
  • Prepare and deliver engaging sales presentations to clients.
  • Negotiate contract terms with clients while ensuring profitability for the company.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Participate in industry conferences and networking events to promote services.
  • Provide timely updates to management regarding sales targets and progress.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities using CRM tools.
  • Address client inquiries and provide timely support to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with product development teams to align on customer needs.
  • Monitor and report on competitive activities to the management team.
  • Develop and implement followup strategies for leads and existing clients.
  • Stay informed about industry innovations and continuously improve sales techniques.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor s degree in Business Marketing or a related field.
  • 13 years of experience in business development or sales roles.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build rapport quickly with clients and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint).
  • Understanding of digital marketing strategies is a plus.
  • Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and client needs.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and analytical ability.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
