Job Description
Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
We required this position for our group company VILAS transcore Limited Ganapatpura(Karjan) 20 KMS from Vadodara Vilas Transcore specializes in the manufacturing and supply of components for power distribution and transmission sector
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the functionality and reliability of machinery and mechanical systems. The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer s responsibilities include performing regular inspections testing machinery identifying faults and conducting repairs.
Responsibilities:
Perform regular inspections of machinery and equipment
Identify faulty equipment through observation and testing metrics
Source replacement parts and perform repairs
Work with team members to devise new and improved manufacturing and maintenance processes
Monitor and control maintenance costs
Design and implement proactive maintenance plans to prevent equipment failures
Conduct performance tests of mechanical systems
Read and interpret blueprints schematics and technical drawings
Recommend modifications to improve equipment performance
Adhere to all safety and environmental regulations when conducting maintenance tasks
Train junior engineers and maintenance staff on machine handling and safety procedures
Document all maintenance and repair work for future reference
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance or a similar role
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment
Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance requirements
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
Skills:
Vibration analysis
Installation and maintenance of mechanical systems
Knowledge of API and ASME codes
Familiarity with atmospheric storage tanks and large rotating equipment
Ability to use maintenance software and tools
