Job Description
Job Title: Junior Civil Engineer
Job Type: Fulltime
Salary:per month
Location: Trichy
Experience: 2 to 3 years in civil engineering (construction) preferably in apartment projects
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Junior Civil Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing onsite construction activities ensuring quality control and assisting in the execution of construction projects. This role requires a handson approach and the ability to work efficiently under the guidance of senior engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee onsite construction activities to ensure they are progressing as per schedule.
- Monitor and maintain quality control while ensuring adherence to design specifications.
- Maintain daily site reports documentation and progress updates.
- Assist in planning and executing construction work under senior engineers supervision.
- Coordinate with contractors suppliers and workers to ensure timely execution of tasks.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Inspect materials tools and work quality to minimize project delays.
- Resolve minor onsite issues and escalate concerns to senior engineers when required.
- Support in quantity estimation billing and BOQ verification.
- Work collaboratively with other engineers and project teams to achieve construction goals.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering.
- 2 to 3 years in civil construction projects
- Strong knowledge of site execution materials and quality control.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints.
- Handson experience in managing site activities and ensuring work progress.
- Proficiency in MS Office AutoCAD and project management tools is preferred.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fastpaced environment.
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
